My Story

From a young age, I struggled with abdominal pain that doctors put down to “growing pains.” This continued intermittently into my teens. Then, after having my wisdom teeth removed in my early twenties, my digestive issues worsened dramatically. I developed irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), anxiety, and what felt like an endless cycle of bloating, discomfort, and fatigue.

By this point, I was already working in the health and fitness industry with a strong interest in nutrition and how the body worked. Over time, I deepened my understanding of gut health and what might be driving my symptoms. The turning point came when a functional stool test revealed a bacterial overgrowth of Klebsiella. Through a combination of nutrition, lifestyle changes, and emotional work, I was able to repair my gut health and in turn, transform my mental health.

Today, I live completely free from IBS symptoms. My own journey has given me a deep understanding of how powerful gut health is in transforming not just digestion, but overall wellbeing.

Gut health will always be my first passion, but as my practice developed, I also began to specialise in cardiovascular health and hormonal balance. These three areas are deeply connected, and I’ve seen time and again how addressing them together can make a profound difference to long-term health and wellbeing.
